• Daisy Chaining
  With daisy chaining, users now have the ability to cost effectively increase their storage volume while maintaining fast transfers. To set up a daisy chain, one master NAS unit is installed as a controller with up to two DAS linked as slaves. SAS cables are then used to link the units together in order to ensure rapid speeds. The ability to reach tremendous capacities while saving nearly 30% on hardware costs (versus traditional storage architecture) is something truly groundbreaking in the industry.

• SATA III and SAS 6G

• PLEX Media Center
  The Plex Media Server is both the heart and brains for any digital media system. The free server is a module available on the Thecus® App Center that allows you to set up and manage your media. With the Plex Media Server installed on your Thecus® NAS, various devices on your network (such as your Xbox 360 and mobile devices) can connect to and stream your local and online media.

• Snapshot Backup
  With BTRFS support, Thecus NAS users can enjoy the simplicity of snapshot backups. Through BTRFS subvolumes, snapshots of data at various time points can be manually or automatically made and just as easily later restored to rollback files or folders to previous states.

• Disk Clone and Wipe
  Disk Clone allows users to copy the entire contents of a disk to one or many other disks while Disk Wipe allows for permanent volume data destruction.

• VPN Server
  A VPN Server allows users to remotely access a secure network.  with VPNs, businesses will be able to utilize a cost-effective, scalable and secured network infrastructure for its client base.

• 10GbE Ready

• Acronis True Image
  Thecus با مشارکت کمپانی Acronis و تکیه بر نرم‌افزار تهیه نسخه پشتیبان True Image با محیطی ساده و کاربر پسند، این امکان را فراهم می‌کند تا فقط با یک کلیک از فایل های مهم خود نسخه پشتیبان تهیه کنید.

• RAID چندگانه
  Thecus این امکان را فراهم می‌کند تا با استفاده از انواع RAID ها نظیر (0، 1، 5، 6، 10، 50، 60 و JBOD) بتوانید از داده‌های خود محافظت کنید. در صورت عملکرد نادرست و یا معیوب شدن یکی از دیسک‌ها، به سرعت هارد معیوب جایگزین شده و اطلاعات بازنویسی می‌گردند.

• فایل سیستم چندگانه
  پشتیبانی از فایل سیستم های مختلف (EXT3, EXT4, Btrfs, XFS) باعث انعطاف‌پذیری سیستم می‌شود و این امکان را فراهم می‌کند تا کاربر به راحتی در محیط‌های مختلف بصورت همزمان به اطلاعات خود دسترسی پیدا کند.

• iSCSI Thin-Provisioning
  با استفاده از این تکنولوژی در کنار سرعت فوق العاده iSCSI می‌توان از فضاهای ذخیره‌سازی خالی موجود به صورت Thin-Provision استفاده نمود و بهره‌وری کلی سیستم در استفاده از منابع را بهبود بخشید.

• اتصالات iOS/Android
  در دنیای جدید دستیابی به اطلاعات از هرجایی جزو مهمترین موضوعات می‌باشد. شما می‌توانید با استفاده از T-OnTheGo و T-Dashboard کلیه اطلاعات را از طریق اتصالات مبتنی بر سیستم عامل‌های iOS/Android ارسال و دریافت نمایید و یا حتی به مدیریت دستگاه NAS بپردازید.

• Rsync
  این تکنولوژی امکان پشتیبان‌گیری از راه دور را مبتنی بر سیستم عامل لینوکس ارائه می‌نماید.

• User Quota
  برای مدیریت آسان فضای دیسک‌ها بر روی NAS، می‌توان فضای ذخیره‌‌سازی را میان کاربران تقسیم نمود و به هر کاربر سهم مورد نیاز خود را اختصاص داد.
   

• درگاه PCI-e

These 12 and 16-bay network-attached storage solutions offer massive scalability, exceptional performance, supporting cross-platform file sharing, schedulable snapshots and resilient data integrity, to ensure a highly efficient working environment.

Equipped with the new Intel Haswell Xeon Processor and 16GB DDR3 ECC RAM, the N12850 and N16850 deliver lightning fast, persistent throughput speeds offering the requirements necessary to efficiently complete CPU-consuming tasks and serves more concurrent tasks at the same time.

With native support for both SAS and SATA drives, users can experience the superior HDD performance of 12G SAS and 6G SATA drives providing flexibility within their storage environment. These new models are 10GbE ready and support High Availability for system redundancy. The units also deploy Daisy Chaining technology which offers connections to four additional D16000s, allowing users to reach storage capacities of up to 640TB.

Software

The N12850 and N16850 NAS offers several new features in an intuitive user interface. These new features including Virtualization, Volume encryption, Thecus App Center and User Profile. This new enterprise series delivers significant improvements in design, performance, and user experience.
