10/20/2016 - Thecus® Technology Corp. today officially launched their enterprise-class SAS-enabled NAS series, the N12910SAS and N16910SAS. These supercharged 12-bay and 16-bay network-attached storage solutions offer massive scalability, trail-blazing speed with uncompromising reliability for optimal data storage performance.

The N12910SAS and N16910SAS are equipped with the Intel® Skylake Xeon E3-1245 v5 3.5G Hz quad-core Processor, with 16GB (expandable to 64GB) of next generation DDR4 ECC RAM. DDR4 brings even higher performance with migration to higher speed, more robust control features while improving energy economy with reduction in memory power demand.
With native support for SAS drives, users can experience the superior HDD performance of 12G. These new models are 10GbE ready and support High Availability for system redundancy. The units also deploy Daisy Chaining technology which offers connections of up to four additional D16000s, allowing users to reach storage capacities of up to 800TB.
The NAS run on the latest ThecusOS 7.0, providing an optimized, feature-rich platform with an intuitive user interface and easy navigation. Key new features include Photo Center, Thecus App Center and File Center. ThecusOS 7.0 delivers significant advancements in productivity, flexibility, and performance.
The N12910SAS and N16910SAS from Thecus® are purposely designed to meet the demanding needs of businesses working with big data.
